I feel this is a very good jumping off place for someone interested in this subject. I did some signs last year using only my personal cutter, and bought this book in anticipation of buying a more professional set up. It covers a lot and with the links to his websites that are very informative and the video that he does of applying lettering to a trailer in snow conditions - I found it a useful bargain.

New to the vinyl business I searched and searched for advice on how to price my products and really, the answers are hard to come by. Searching forums I came across a few formulas and ideas but they never really seemed to add up or have an explanation. The author of this book does a great job of walking you through the beginning to end process of starting your own vinyl sign business. You may not learn everything you need to know, so much comes with experience, but I think its a must read for those new to the industry.
